Totara Street Paintings

At the end of 1999 Charles returned to Aotearoa New Zealand and spent four months living with his grandfather, A. L. Clayton, in Totara Street, Nelson, where he set up a tiny studio in the laundry. He later had an exhibition at the Plimmer Steps Gallery, Wellington, 2001.
